Police in Utah County were out in full-force this morning patrolling for distracted drivers.
With July 24th's Pioneer Day celebrations beginning last Friday, Utah Law Enforcement agencies are again ramping up their efforts to catch drivers who are impaired.
As I have mentioned before Utah will be the first in the nation to enact a 0.05% BAC DUI law. This new law will be the toughest in the nation and will go into effect on December 30th this year. The Utah Highway Patrol is preparing to enforce this new law.

While driving south the ambulance was hit by an SUV that did not stop at a stop sign. Upon colliding the ambulance rolled over causing injury to two EMS workers. The driver of the SUV who was not wearing his seat-belt was also injured. The passenger in the SUV was not.
