A DUI driver was spotted doing over 100 mph traveling on Redwood Road In North Salt. Then into Woods Cross and West Bountiful.
North Salt Lake Police witnessed the drunk driver, Alanzo Briones, 25 of Layton driving at an extremely high speed.
The driver hit a home located at 1814 W., 400 South in West Bountiful. The driver crashed into a room that a 5-month old baby was sleeping in. Luckily the baby was not severely injured and was just treated for minor injures.
The driver was also treated for minor injures and then booked into the Davis County Jail. He was charged with suspicion of DUI, carrying a dangerous weapon while intoxicated, and criminal mischief.
The driver has been released on bail and has a scheduled hearing at the Farmington, Utah Courthouse.
